OUR 5 STEP PROCESS

It depends on the size of the room, condition of the boards and preparation required, but a standard 5x5m room would take approximately a day to complete (including applying the finish) and be ready to use approximately 12 - 24 hours after that.

INITIAL SURVEY

Once your enquiry has been received, one of our team will contact you to arrange a site visit to measure up and assess the work required. Following our site visit, you will receive a free, no obligation quote within 24 hours.

Step 2

FLOOR PREPARATION

We’ll remove any carpets or furniture then, if necessary, the floor will be cleaned and prepared for sanding which can include: a thorough hoovering of the floor, repairing or replacing damaged boards, filling in gaps between the boards and removing any dangerous or unsightly nails and screws.

Step 3

SANDING

The floor sanding process is dust-free! The equipment uses the latest technology to ensure that no dust escapes into the environment. In addition, our professional technicians leave your premises clean and tidy.

Step 4

STAIN AND LACQUER

We offer a vast array of finishes to suit your interior from coloured stains to limewashes. Our skilled technicians can even colour match your wooden areas throughout the premises from window frames, beams, work surfaces and the floor to guarantee a uniform colour palette throughout. Followed up with 3 coats of lacquer in a choice of matt, satin, gloss or super matt finishes.

Step 5

FINISHING TOUCHES

We always leave properties tidy and can reinstate line markings on the floor or return furniture to the room if required. We provide detailed aftercare advice and top-quality products to ensure you maintain the results for years to come.
